Feeding time.

Feed me, storm. Make it all as it used to be.

I'm here to be nourished, to drink your Thunder and hear your rain. I can read your lightning like a mother knows the cry of her baby.
Talk to me, storm, for I am the one that wishes to hear your plea.

Fill me with your razor winds and show me the familiar face of your clouds. Like mine they are dark and everchanging. Like mine,  they hide all light within them.

You are a moving point, storm, you're a blur. But me,  no, I'm always here. I'm a fixed point of cataclysm, self-contained and feasting on myself.

So feed me, storm, and allow me to give you home. Make the beautiful chaos stir in me again. Make us kin, for kin we have always been.

And as you move on, please take a memory of me with you. For I am now fed. I am now motion. I am a vessel of the blunt wise force of nature...
Just as you pleaded me to be.

Canto I - The Voyage, by Ezra Pound

Thus with stretched sail, we went over sea till day’s end.
Sun to his slumber, shadows o’er all the ocean,
Came we then to the bounds of deepest water,
To the Kimmerian lands, and peopled cities
Covered with close-webbed mist, unpierced ever
With glitter of sun-rays
Nor with stars stretched, nor looking back from heaven
Swartest night stretched over wretched men there.
The ocean flowing backward, came we then to the place
Aforesaid by Circe.
Here did they rites, Perimedes and Eurylochus,
And drawing sword from my hip
I dug the ell-square pitkin;
Poured we libations unto each the dead,
First mead and then sweet wine, water mixed with white flour.
Then prayed I many a prayer to the sickly death’s-heads;
As set in Ithaca, sterile bulls of the best
For sacrifice, heaping the pyre with goods,
A sheep to Tiresias only, black and a bell-sheep.
Dark blood flowed in the fosse,
Souls out of Erebus, cadaverous dead, of brides
Of youths and of the old who had borne much;
Souls stained with recent tears, girls tender,
Men many, mauled with bronze lance heads,
Battle spoil, bearing yet dreory arms,
These many crowded about me; with shouting,
Pallor upon me, cried to my men for more beasts;
Slaughtered the herds, sheep slain of bronze;
Poured ointment, cried to the gods,
To Pluto the strong, and praised Proserpine;
Unsheathed the narrow sword,
I sat to keep off the impetuous impotent dead,
Till I should hear Tiresias.
But first Elpenor came, our friend Elpenor,
Unburied, cast on the wide earth,
Limbs that we left in the house of Circe,
Unwept, unwrapped in sepulchre, since toils urged other.
Pitiful spirit.

Into Hell

So I covet the fires eternal
The Brimstone waves washing over me
A land of no rules and no sins
An Endless field of no wrong deeds

And in the brimstone gleam I found no Kin
As in all the drafted and dragged I find myself to be
The only soul to ever seek damnation

Of Vows

   Never Compromise- Not Even In The Face of Oblivion! A vow that I took unknowingly at birth of my conscience, and to which I try to remain true.

   I've been successful so far. The trick is old, all you have to do is figure out who you want to be... And then be it! Don't let yourselves be fooled - we all build ourselves, from a bunch of spare parts we pick up here and there during the days of our lives. Figure out who you want to be - how the parts will fit, what they will become. Know it from the start, and there will be no need to go back.

   I've allowed none to rob me from myself. During all this years, I've listened to my guts and acted according to my design. And all my mistakes were chosen by myself, therefore no regret befalls me. And so it will remain in the years to come, as I take a new vow: I shall say no word other than my own.

   And thus I remain myself. And, in the end, I will be able to say, with the pride of an honest man: "I've lived my life free of compromise!" and I will step into the shadows without complaint or regret...

... and the never-ending darkness will mean just unending rest to me.

A Dark Lord and his Red Queen

As I forever rule in darkness, behind the shadows that cover the hearts of men, the infinite emptiness of space and time spreads too far for the lonely mind to bear.

And so in the edges of my Being that are touched by the rays of light she is born, a Ruby corona that spreads life and warmth into the Unbearable Nothingness. She extends her Razor-sharp hand, breaks all my defenses and reaches deep into my core. She crosses unthinkable spaces in the time of a heartbeat and stares right at my face.

My true face.

And we smile. Our true faces come closer... and closer...

_______________________________

Her crimson satin draped frame twists around the black fabric. And easy as that, a Dark Lord no longer rules alone. They fly around their dominion, hand in hand, never letting go. She reaches the surface and the bright spots that he does not care to visit, while he dwells and controls the Darkest corners that she is afraid to get to know any better.

She tries to remain in the light, as she fears the darkness in her. But the darkness is his Realm, and he will keep her safe from it.

And the light is his pain, and is alien to him, but she casts it in a scarlet hue that brings life and joy and leaves things no less grim. In the light of his Red Queen, he feels grateful for being alive!

And they are now together, and nothing can do them apart, for where one fails, the other shall prevail. A fallen angel and a fiery muse in a blur of an embrace never before seen by men. Never apart by more then a thought: The Dark Lord and his Red Queen!

Starless Night

I am sorry for this starless night.
I apologize to you.
I brought forth a darker sky of my own making,
and didn't offer you any light.

I am so sorry that the heavy clouds have covered the moon.
They have hidden it away.
You have been longing for that beacon of hope to come out...
But it won't.

I regret to inform you that the dawn is not coming.
Not so soon.
I've pushed the sun down below the horizon, just to make my perfect night a little longer.
Once again, sorry for taking away your light.

But don't you worry.
I'll ask the lighting to come down.
It will shout to greet us and show us around.
And the warm rain will take away the cold.
I'll make the heavens cry for you!
In this shower of tears and blood, we will bath.

Me as Shadows

A lightning bolt comes out of my mind, and it rips the sky open. A lonely night, flickering light. I have to admit, I only made it so brief to light the awful shapes in your imagination. Now, you think you saw what you only feared.

I twist the shapes inside your eyes. I make you see what you don't want to see. A perfect illusion, as no man would believe seeing something perfectly good, but would never doubt seeing something perfectly bad. The salty water will only make it all worse.

I dig two hands into your soul and pull out what you've hidden the deepest. In the surface, it will grow. In the surface, you will see all faces of it. And you will shiver, you will feel like your own spirit is no longer by your side. And that will not be far from the truth.
Into the dark, darkening night, a gentle breeze comes from skies high and sweeps down the faces of men. The cold that creeps over their skins is not akin from those that craw up your spine as you walk into a cemetery.  Yes, that cold breeze is the same cold breath from the dead.

But this air that I feel has something incredible; this air that can fill my lungs also fulfills my soul and some hunger I no longer remembered I had. And I see in the dark sky a blacker mass that the wind brings in skies high: the roar of thunder, the cloud of rain, they are reaching out to me again. My perfect storm, for so long away, it is returning to where it came to fill my lungs and feed my soul, my hunger for power and purpose.

It is welcome, the storm can feel it, the sizzling wind sweeps up my face and I feel its powerful embrace. It recharges me and I am born anew, to see the world in a way that I alone knew how. The electric blue of lightning touches my skin and is transformed into a golden gleam. The hurricane sharpens the blade in my right hand, so sharp it can cut a thought before it is had. The rain arrives and washes away the pieces of past that cling on to me, memories of the time I forgot who I was.

And the breath of the dead that brings the cold, to me is the mark of greater events to unfold in this world that, once again, I am able to see. And nevermore shall my storm be swept away from me!
